A Kidney for Maria
Meet Maria
Maria’s life has been marked by struggle, resilience, and deep love for her family. At 54 years old, she is a devoted wife and mother, but she is also facing an urgent battle against polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a hereditary condition that took the lives of both her father and brother at a young age. Now, with only 9% kidney function remaining, Maria urgently needs a kidney transplant to survive.
Living with PKD has not been easy. Her daily life is filled with restrictions: an extremely limited diet, constant medical checkups, and treatments to prevent severe complications like heart failure. Her body is weakening, suffering from extreme fatigue, swelling, and persistent pain. Yet, through it all, Maria holds onto hope.
Now, more than ever, she needs our help. If you have the opportunity to become a donor, you could be the person who saves her life. And if donation isn’t an option, your support is still invaluable—share her story, spread her message, and stand by her side with your prayers and words of encouragement.
Together, we can give Maria a second chance at life. Help by sharing this message. Her life depends on the generosity and kindness of people like you. ❤️
